Acjuva has been compared by users and critics alike to the Proactiv skin treatment. It has been called “Proactiv solution on steroids” in fact. But according to their website, they don’t use potential skin irritants such as benzoyl peroxide or other alcohols. Instead, they use ingredients like tea tree oil, green tea, aloe vera, chamomile, and DMAE.

Acjuva is a serious, yet gentle 3 step acne treatment. It does not use celebrity endorsements, nor does it pay for air time to advertise on TV. Therefore, the makers of Acjuva can afford to pass the savings onto you. Though ingredients in store brand products do work, they often cause as many problems as they do solutions. These companies use them under the mentality of “results at any cost.” Acjuva works under the mantra of “only if it truly benefits the consumer.”

When I first started using Acujuva my skin immediately felt fresh and squeaky clean. I was very optimistic within the first week of begining this skin care regime. However, week after week of usuage and still my acne did not clear. Today it has been apporximately 2 months of usuage and still my acne is worse than ever. I am so dissapointed! I really thought this would be the treatment to work. Andrea
