Acne Free Severe is supposed to be a ramped up version of the original Acne Free. Like its predecessor, it is sold mostly at stores like Walmart. It competes against Proactiv, using basically the same formula, or so we can see, and it sells at a noticabley cheaper price. It’s a free market, right? So why not purchase the same product for a cheaper price.

The big difference between the original Acne Free and Acne Free severe is one ingredient: Retin A. Retin A is basically a form of retinol or Vitamin A, and according to experts, it is a natural exfoliant. It breaks down dead skin cells and therefore reduces clogging. However, like other forms of vitamin A, it is prone to cause redness and irritation. So if you want to buy Proactiv, try Acne Free first. But if you are looking for a higher grade of acne treatment, look elsewhere.

I started using Acne Free about a week ago and was very pleased immediately. However when the directions say don't get it around your eyes they're not lying. It makes them dry and wrinkly. I highly recommend using a moisturizer around your eyes with this product. I noticed the little blackheads and hard under the skin acne disappear right away, and that never happened with any other medicine, including Proactiv.

Works great. The only drawback is the 4 step treatment, a little time consuming. Other than that, it's great.

i have used thos product for about 4 months and it works well but i still get acne and when i get my monthley gift it gets kinda bad so i am going to try oxy becuase it is just about the same stuff but cheaper and not as time consuming
