We’ve all heard of Proactiv, and when there is a big product, there are always imitators. Acne Free is one of those imitators. It sells mostly through stores like Walmart, and it is obviously cheaper than Proactiv. Moreover, they claim that they have a clinical study which would prove Acne Free is “significantly better than Proactiv.”
We can’t say if Acne Free is significantly better than Proactiv. However, we can say they are about the same formula, and Acne Free is cheaper. It comes down to the simple bang for your buck. However, keep in mind, just like Proactiv, Acne Free may irritate the skin and dry it out among other things. And like any other product, it does not work for everybody.

My son used Acne Free for several months. Like any of the other products it worked at first then his face got worse. He got to where he would use Acne Clear for a month then switch off to Proactive for a month. That worked for awhile then neither would do anything for him. He just started using Acnetix, I'll let you know how it works.

After using Proactive and couldn't afford it anymore. I laid off the medication. Acne was so bad that I had 2 cyst along with 15 pimples all on my mustache area. Tried this product out, found out that it is the same thing as proactive. The ingredience are almost the same and works the same. So I would suggest this because if you are getting proactive to save money. But both products are maintenance kit not a permanent fix. I am heading toward Exposed acne treatment.

I have been staying against salicylic acid and benzyl peroxide for years. Then I lost a bet with a friend and tried this product. I could not believe how smooth my large-pore skin became. None of the products dried my skin out or hurt any open pimples. I will continue to use this product.
