Shed the Dead...Skin that is

Dead skin cells play a huge role in acne. Your skin is constantly shedding away skin cells, creating new ones, and hopefully at a faster rate. There are even acne fighting ingredients that do this in order to both thicken the skin and encourage the skin to shed away the dead ones to make room for new ones. But this in mind, most of the time, we have a problem. Most of the time, dead skin cells don't automatically shed away. They don't automatically get off the skin.

Instead, these dead skin cells stay on the skin, and they end up clogging the pores. They trap dirt, oils, bacteria, and other problem things in the pores, and this causes blackheads. Ultimately speaking, this leads to pimples and what we often associate with acne in general. So how do you get rid of these hazards, these dead skin cells that are only really causing problems for you?

You exfoliate. By exfoliate I mean you use little scrubbers to get rid of your dead skin cells. This will actually get rid of not only your acne, but your dull skin. When you exfoliate away these dead skin cells, you automatically get a new glow and otherwise. The best way is to actually use a premade scrub. They generally use proven ingredients, in the best ones gentle ingredients like walnut shell, and these can be easy, convenient, comfortable.

I also say this because quite frankly, the best scrubs will give you extra ingredients for other acne fighting and skin benefitting purposes that you would spend far more to use in your own homemade acne treatment. So to save money and time among other things, there are plenty of acne scrubs out there that do all the busy work for you.

However, if you want to actually make your own homemade acne scrub or exfoliator, it's certainly not out of the question. However, with our busy schedules, it can be a bit too much for some. If you are looking into this however, there is one major recipe that I recommend. I recommend that you combine salt and aloe vera. Essentially speaking, this will scrub and then rinse away dead skin cells while also reducing inflammation, another big thing with acne that traps things in the pores.

This being said, it's that easy. Basically speaking, you can buy sea salt, which always helps you to achieve those greater benefits. Sea salt can easily be mixed with just about anything, the only thing that doesn't really help in a scrub is water. But if you mix it with aloe vera, you get an anti inflammatory effect. But it also soothes and heals the skin, promoting greater growth of new cells, which ultimately also helps you to push away dead skin cells to make room for those new and healthy cells. It gives your skin a new glow with this particular combination, and more importantly it's generally cheap.
