Epiduo Review

Epiduo

Epiduo is a new prescription acne treatment that claims to give you results and the truth about zits. They claim that even mild acne is a medical condition, and therefore it requires a doctor's help. They even have a counter supposedly giving you the number of people who have visited a physician to treat their acne. The Epiduo gel comes in one form, and it actually combines 2 known ingredients known as adapalene in 1% and benzoyl peroxide in 2.5%. However, these ingredients are well known to irritate and dry out the skin, attacking acne by getting rid of all the oils. Unfortunately, they are not actually known to kill off bacteria and sustain it or otherwise get rid of acne in a way that actually works.

If you buy Epiduo, you will of course need to make that inconvenient visit to your dermatologist. But if you have sensitive or even normal skin, you will probably experience side effects, and you are guaranteed burning, itching, etc. But you are not guaranteed results, especially if you have already tried a product using adapalene or benzoyl peroxide, and even on the over the counter market, benzoyl peroxide based products are numerous.

Epiduo

I am 20 yr old female and I have mild acne. I went to the dermatologist and was put on doxy (the antibotic) which really worked although it took 2 months to see results, I got off the pill for a while and broke out again so the doctor told me to try epiduo and put me back on doxy. It's been about 2 weeks since using epiduo and at first I noticed the pimples got worse but nothing too badd and i did experience mild itching for the first 2 days but now my skin seems used to it and let me tell you i already see the pimples decreasing and going away. I was very unsure of trying this because my skin is sensative and the pill seemed to work before on its own but it takes so long so the doctor insisted i try it with epiduo. My face is still not where i want it to be (flawless) lolz but i already noticed a difference in just 2 weeks, even my co worker noticed so i say give it time and everybody's skin is different so you just have to see what works best for your skin. But epiduo seems really great!!

same here. I'm 32 now and been having acne since i was 15. So been there with tons of derm, meds, over counters, pills pills pills. Facials, lemon juice...you name it man. I was using 2.5% benz. peroxide with a ligt lotion at night with Bactrim pills. Works fine but darken face by sunlight in morning. I just started Epiduo and since i was already using a tye of BP 2.5% it wasnt' a bad switch since i won't get the worst before better, since my face already got used to the BP 2.5%. With Epiduo it feels smooth and i don't need to add lotion lik e with BP straight. So let's see how it goes for a few months. For $200 ($20 really) it better be worth the price else going back to the 2.5% bottle form acne.com for like $16.
