Acne Free Review

Acne is most commonly called “pimples” or “zits.”  However, it can also include whiteheads, blackheads, pustules, and cysts.  They appear wherever there are a lot of oil (sebaceous) glands.  Hormones stimulate the oil, causing build-up.  This oil stimulates bacteria and causes inflammation.  Inflammation near the surface creates a pustule. Deeper inflammation is called a papule (or pimple) and the deepest is a cyst. Oil that breaks the surface becomes whiteheads.  Whiteheads take on a black color when the oil reacts with the air to become blackheads.
